Skiles/Stursa switched cars with Neisen/Lueker and took over (newer) #34 car on Saturday as planned; rolled on stage 19 on Saturday afternoon without injury. NYRC #1 � 22nd overall, 12th 2WD NYRC #2 � dnf (2WD class) (Not entered in national) 34 � Michael Neisen/David Lueker Honda Civic (Honda R&D Americas) This novice team (also Honda engineers) ran well on Friday; took over #33 car on Saturday; changed left front control arm at last service, but during the same stop they discovered a rear tire rub which they couldn�t solve in time � withdrew. NYRC #1 � 14th overall, 5th 2WD NYRC #2 � dnf (2WD class) (Not entered in national) 35 � Conor Malone/Glenna Chestnutt Dodge Conquest Team from Toronto, competing in their first performance rally; withdrew from Friday run after radiator failure on special stage 2; fixed car and restarted Saturday; completed the day without incident. USRC � dnf (Open 2WD) NYRC 1 � dnf (2WD) NYRC 2 � 23rd overall, 11th overall 43 � Ken Block/Alessandro �Alex� Gelsomino 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI (Subaru Rally Team USA, Monster Energy, DC) Team ordered Block not to bend the car, as they had to run the same car in Washington in a week; clipped a rock causing flat tire on Friday afternoon, which Block and Gelsomino changed on the next transit zone; otherwise a clean run. USRC � 1st overall, 1st Open AWD NYRC 1 � 1st overall, 1st AWD NYRC 2 � 1st overall, 1st AWD 311 � Simon Wright/Kieran Wright 2001 Ford Focus ZX3 (USUK Racing) First time with the car in modified trim; went off from special stage 14 (the golf course, Friday evening) and into a ditch; wound up with some of the rough in the car�s grille, but avoided the sand traps and got back on the road; car�s electronic dashboard malfunctioned on Saturday morning, but the service crew fixed it at the next stop; no further problems; team had an electronic beacon which allowed fans to track its location using their web site, www.usukracing.com.
