Singer T. Graham Brown Added to Music Line-up for Post-Race Concert
During Rally Tennessee 2010 Road Race in Perry County

CARY, NC — Lobelville Mayor Robby Moore and Rally Tennessee 2010 organizers announce that country and blues crooner T. Graham Brown will perform a free post-race concert in Lobelville on Saturday, May 29, 2010. Graham's performance will conclude a daylong offering of music in Lobelville as part of the Memorial Day weekend festivities surrounding the running of annual two-day Rally Tennessee 2010 racing in Perry County.

"T. Graham Brown has a long track record of doing great songs and putting on an energetic show," declared Mayor Moore. "With the free concerts we did last year here, featuring Razzy Bailey, Mel McDaniel and the numerous Nashville blues artists, aving T. Graham Brown come to Perry County for a free show is a natural fit. He covers many music styles and his concert should be a real treat for us all, this upcoming Memorial Day weekend. And to have the Rally Tennessee racers and country music fans converge in Perry County that weekend will be special."

NASA Rally Sport's annual Rally Tennessee will kick off summer during this upcoming Memorial Day weekend. Celebrating its 6th year, the acclaimed Rally Tennessee returns to Perry County on May 29-30, 2010, highlighting more rally cars and motorcycles than ever before. Racers are competing against the clock with timed runs.

This Perry County, Tennessee-based event will have cars and motorcycles racing over a closed course of super twisty public roads on both Saturday and Sunday of the holiday weekend. Saturday's racing will happen in Lobelville, with the race's conclusion and awards happening in Linden on Sunday, May 30. There is live music scheduled all day Saturday on the racer's Pit Row on Main Street in Lobelville, during that day's racing.

"We'll start the music off around 11:00 AM on Main Street by our new City Hall, and end up with the T. Graham Brown concert at 7:30 PM to top off the first day of road racing," Moore added. "Linden and Lobelville in Perry County will become holiday destinations for folks from all over Middle Tennessee on Memorial Day weekend, with all the free racing and great music we'll have here."

T. Graham Brown is a journeyman and songwriter whose blue-eyed soul sound defies musical boundaries. "I'm looking forward to meeting my fans and making a bunch of new fans there in Perry County, and my, what a party we'll have on that Memorial Day weekend Saturday night," he said. Brown has penned several hit country songs and has himself garnered ten Top-10 single hits, a CMA Award and a long list of national radio and television ads.

When T. Graham Brown arrived in Nashville from his native Athens, Georgia in 1982, he quickly found work as a studio singer making demonstration tapes. Having such a unique sound, he was quickly signed to Capitol Records. His first single release, "I Tell It Like It Used To Be" stymied country radio but they played it anyway and it became a hit. He followed it with "Hell And High Water," "Come As You Were" and "Darlene." He was nominated for Country Music Association Awards in 1987, 1989 and1990 and won in 1992 for the Vocal Event of the Year with George Jones and others on "I Don't Need Your Rocking Chair."

In 1998, T. Graham Brown's single "Wine Into Water" inspired the lives of countless individuals and went all the way to the top of the Christian Country Music charts. The video was awarded the #1 independent "video of the year".T's talents as a jingle singer are in constant demand. He has sung on numerous national commercials for products including Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Budweiser, Ford Trucks, Harrah's Casinos, 7-Up and Taco Bell.

T. Graham Brown's performance may also serve to kick off a proposed "Music on Main Street" Summer Saturday night concert series being discussed by Linden and Lobelville town officials. The early details are that there will be music concerts every Saturday night in Perry County during the entire Summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day, alternating between Linden's Courthouse Square and Lobelville's Main Street City Hall each week. There is no further information available as the show times, proposed line-ups and talent schedule have yet to be released.
